Here are a few things you can do with ease that will quickly help you accomplish this.

1. Be conscious of the thermostat in your home, setting the temperature a couple degrees higher during summer & lower during the winter

2. Unplug your appliances when you are not using them, also consider a smart power strip

3. Hot water cost money – Wash clothes in cold water whenever it’s possible & dry clothes on a clothesline if possible

4. Take a quicker shower & install a slow flow shower head to conserve water

5. Walk or bike to work or for short trips, less gas is always better and this a great form of exercise

These are just a few things we can do here in the Anna Maria Island & Longboat Key area that will keep our area beautiful for many many years to come.
